Occupational Therapy & Eating Disorder Intervention

As someone who has recovered from an eating disorder, I recognized early on in OT school the benefits OT can have on someone with an eating disorder. At the time, I had no idea the crucial & unique role OT plays in eating disorder intervention. In fact, many healthcare professionals today don't know the crucial role OT plays in eating disorder intervention....including those who work in the setting. I want to change that.

I created an online educational program to educate healthcare professionals about occupational therapy's unique & important role in eating disorder intervention.
